Miquel de Palol filled with his poetry the last session of 2018 in Santa Cecilia de Montserrat. The writer read a selection of poems from his long literary career, including some still unpublished. Miquel de Palol defines himself as "an apprentice who practices in the limits". In his verses we could appreciate depth and sarcasm, tenderness, irony and humor.

"It is subject of books for students an idea of poetry as the direct expression of the feelings of the poet, of what descending in the synecdoque would be said lyrical; and one of novel –more evolved art– as the transposition of feelings and vicissitudes to other protagonists outside the author, a terrain assimilable to the epic, since poetry is the core of all literature, from the Aristotelian nomenclature. The distinction goes beyond the use of the first person in the first case, and of the third in the second, and in modernity, the disquiet of the horror vacui has diluted –for some, happily– the boundaries between genres. These are the last poems of an apprentice who practices in the limits, and the formal consequences of the continued treatment with different points of view."
