Pianist Xavier Pardo performed back in Santa Cecilia of Montserrat with a program entitled Liebestod (“death of love” or “death of desire”, in German) that included pieces by Bach, Wagner, Liszt, Ravel and Smetana. The program is born from a personal investigation to provide content to abstract elements such as dreams, passion or feelings, which the musician conveys through these scores. In all of them there was a melancholy of memories and dreams and hopes not fulfilled. Another exquisite musical evening that filled Santa Cecilia chapel.
