We've started the activities of the Sean Scully Art and Spirituality Institute in the chapel of Santa Cecilia of Montserrat. Last Friday October 2nd took place the first session of silent meditation, accompanied by the Abbot Josep M. Soler, about finding peace based in the Rule of St. Benedict. We experienced mixed methodology of elements from both Eastern and Western meditation, the calm demeanor necessary for meditation and exposure of a subject to ponder over the minutes of silence. The result was very satisfactory, as participants commented later. About sixty people filled the church in that moment of inner deepening. Then, attendees could have coffee with Montserrat cake in a relaxed conversation in the old refectory of the monastery of Santa Cecilia. We are very pleased to have launched the Institute's activities and we want to encourage you to participate! You can consult the program on the website or in the blog of Santa Cecilia.
