Twelfth edition of the Inspiration / Divinity series at Santa Cecilia with the musicologist Oriol Pérez Treviño, who introduced us to the last work of WA Mozart (1756-1791), the Requiem in D minor KV 626. Despite being a well-known work, Pérez Treviño insisted on a little treated aspect, as the religious dimension not only of the Requiem but of the composer, one of the great geniuses of history of western music. Mozart's music rises from the human and transports us to areas where we intuit the mystery of a presence that seems to transcend the music itself. With his usual didactic tone, Oriol Pérez Treviño took us into the composition with comments on fragments and video projections. In this 2019 we have proposed to deepen in some works of the genius of Salzburg with two more lectures.
